Dear Council Delegates,

You are invited to join us on Wednesday June 14, 2017 to learn about the joint project of the IAIS and IAA to consider actuarial services in inclusive insurance. 

The IAIS, in cooperation with the IAA, aims to identify and develop approaches to establish or enforce actuarial expertise in inclusive insurance markets based on an understanding of a proportionate application of prudential requirements in inclusive insurance markets.

This project has two specific deliverables:

1. IAIS Application Paper:  "Proportionate Prudential Requirements in Inclusive Insurance Markets" ; and

2. IAA Paper: "Approaches to Actuarial Services in Inclusive Insurance Markets

Drafting is in progress and the papers are expected to be completed by the end of 2017.

In this webcast, Tom Terry - IAA President, Nigel Bowman - Chair of the IAA Microinsurance Working Group and Jules Gribble - IAIS will present  an overview of the project, its objectives and provide an update on the current status.

We will hold the webcast at two different times that day to accommodate as many of you as possible.   After you register (see the links below) you will receive a confirmation email that will include detailed instructions on how to join the webcast.
