We would like to draw your attention to the EAA Forum "Solvency II - Preparatory Phase Ahead" from 23 - 25 March 2015 in Strasbourg, France. With the EAA Forum we have launched a new event format which focusses on one hot actuarial topic. It combines the opportunities to gain new knowledge and skills with meeting other colleagues from all over Europe. The format is replacing the EAA Summer School.

Focusing on the formal start of Solvency II in 2016 this Forum has the objective to introduce actuaries to the status of the implementation process, the basics of Solvency II and some relevant topics of the new solvency concept. The Forum will prepare you for that part of your work and help to develop your actuarial skills needed for future tasks. Beside this there will be enough time for the communication with other participants and the discussion of your current topics.

Due to the introductory structure of the EAA Forum, the seminar might especially be interesting for the younger actuarial community, but of course other colleagues who want to get a structured introduction into the status of Solvency II are invited to participate as well.
